UniCredit & Universities Crivelli Europe Scholarship, 2015/2016

Applications are invited by UniCredit & Universities Knight of Labor Ugo Foscolo Foundation for one Crivelli Europe Scholarship. Scholarship is available for young graduates in economics, banking and finance who wish to take a PhD course at one of the best universities in Europe, in the USA or in any country where UniCredit is present. The scholarship amounts to €25,000 for the 2015-2016 academic year and is renewable for the second year. The closing date for application is 15 November 2014.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the competition, candidates must:

- have obtained a degree in economics or finance with top final grades since 30 September 2012.

-either citizens of all 17 countries where UniCredit is present, with a degree from any university (also outside the geographical area of the Group)

-citizens of any nationality with a degree from any European university within the geographical area of the Group;

-have obtained a degree (at least three years in duration) in the fields of economics, banking or finance, with a final top mark, since 30 September 2012;

-must have good knowledge of the foreign language used in the university courses for which the scholarship will be spent.

Scholarship Open for International Students:

Citizens of all 17 countries where UniCredit is present (Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine), international students with a degree from any European university within the geographical area of the Group are eligible to apply.

There is one scholarship available for students.

Duration of award(s):

25% of the sum of the scholarship is paid in advance, 25% after the confirmation of the beginning of attendance of the courses and the remainder in two equal deferred installments (one in January 2016 and one in April 2016), without prejudice to the possibility of the sums relative to the individual installments of university fees and any lodging expenses being paid in advance, upon documented request of the recipient. The scholarship is renewable for the second year.

What does it cover?

The scholarship amounts to €25,000 for the 2015-2016 academic year and is renewable for the second year. All tuition fees for the duration of the scholarship will be also reimbursed by the Foundation.

Selection Criteria:

The Foundation’s Scientific Committee will be responsible for the selection procedure and will identify the winner of the scholarship. The Scientific Committee, appointed by the Foundation’s Board of Directors, is composed of academic experts in economics and finance from the main European countries. The Committee intends to give priority to suitable candidates who will start a PhD in the fall 2015.

Notification:

The winner will be selected by the Scientific Committee of the Foundation and will be announced by 31 December 2014.

LLM Scholarships at University of Turin (UNITO) in Italy, 2014-2015

Applications are invited fora number of LLM scholarships at the University of Turin (UNITO). Scholarships will preferably be awarded to women and candidates from developing countries, based on merit. A number of full and/or partial scholarships, covering tuition fee will be available. Students must, however, bear all other expenses related to, for example travel, food and board. Eligibility: Scholarships will preferably be awarded to women and candidates from developing countries, based on merit. Such candidates requesting scholarship will be identified by the Scientific Committee. Candidates must meet the following requirements:

-Hold at least a 3-year university degree issued by an internationally recognized university in one of the aforementioned areas;

-Be fully proficient in English (both spoken and written). During the course students will be asked to actively engage in class activities, draft legal documents, analyze court decisions and case documents, discuss practical scenarios and work in groups.

Scholarship Open for International Students: Local and international students can apply for these LLM scholarships. Scholarships will preferably be awarded to women and candidates from developing countries.
